The Rise Academy

Teaching & Learning

All teachers will be given structured training on how to teach an outstanding lesson. All teachers will prepare schemes of work and lesson plans for the units they will be teaching. Teachers will combine modern teaching techniques with some traditional methods to deliver creative lessons. To monitor the quality of teaching and learning, the Rise Academy will ensure that all teachers follow the teaching and learning policy consistently. Teachers will be observed once a half term and feedback will be given to further support the quality of teaching and learning. The quality of teaching and learning will be characterised by the 2Cs – consistency and creativity.

All our teachers are qualified in various Islamic sciences graduating from different well established Islamic institutions in England and the Middle East. They have vast experience in teaching using both traditional and modern methodologies. Also, a significant number of our teachers hold qualified teaching status from various British universities who are teaching in the state schools.

In order to ensure that teaching and learning continues to be high quality, all teachers will attend Continuous Professional Development sessions once every half term focusing on essential aspect of teaching and learning.
