1. Fees

All fees must be made in cash on the dates stated
All fees are non-refundable including admin fees
All fees must be made on time (depending on payment plan)

Plan 1 – 4 payments per 10 weeks

Plan 2 – 2 payment per 20 weeks (5% discount 2 weekends free)

Admin fee – £45 per child

Individuals who experience financial difficulty can contact the senior management team.

2. Late fees, fines and expulsion
Late fees will incur a £10 fine (per child) for fees not paid within the second week of payment date

Fees not paid in 3 weeks of payment date will result in child being removed

If your child is picked up more than 15 late after school, there will be a £10 fine

Term dates will adhere to as close to as possible to the local schools’ term date. Parents are advised not to go on holidays during term dates, as this will hinder the child’s learning. Also no refunds will be given to those who plan holidays during term dates as mentioned. Dates maybe subject to change.

4. Resource policy
Rise Academy will provide students with a set of curriculum books appropriate to their curriculum level, once admission fees are paid.

It is the responsibility of the child to keep their resources safe, any replacements will incur charges.

5. Leave policy
Parents should notify the Rise Academy 4 weeks in advance in writing if they wish to withdraw their child/ren. As mentioned all fees are non-refundable.

6. Attendance
All students are expected to have 100% attendance.

Students who are absent through sickness, medical appointment or any unforeseen reason, it is important the parent/guardian contact the academy and inform us of the absence prior to the day of absence. (07903196416)

If there is a long term planned absence during term time, again it is important the parent/guardian contact the academy and inform us of the absence. (07903196416)

Failure to attend and inform academy of long term absences (3+ weeks), will result in child/ren being removed from our register.

7. Punctuality
All students are expected to have 100% punctuality.

All students are expected to be on time between 9.15am and 9.30am in the morning.

All students are expected to be picked up between 2.30pm and 2.45pm

If students are going to be late to attend or picked up it is important the parent/guardian contact the academy and inform us. (07903196416).

As mentioned if your child is picked up more than 15 late after school, there will be a £10 fine.

8. Behaviour
Students are expected to:

  • take responsibility for their own behaviour
  • respect everyone
  • look after the buildings and its environment
  • wear the correct uniform as stated on the schools’ uniform policy
  • have all equipment
  • attend every day on time

You must not…

  • be defiant to any member of staff at The Academy
  • bring in or use anything that is dangerous or illegal
  • threaten, bully, fight, be violent, abusive or defiant to other students or staff
  • damage Academy property or steal
  • bring in valuable items, mobile phones, mp3s etc (the items will be confiscated and parents will need to collect them)
  • be late for lessons or take time off school
  • wear incorrect uniform

Parents/Carers will…

  • support the rules of The Academy
  • help your child to arrive on time.
  • check your child’s journal for homework and comments
  • check that your child has done their homework
  • Support your child with their homework

Teachers will…

  • value any positive contribution students make
  • reward students for good behaviour, effort and high quality work
  • apply rules and sanctions consistently, these will include detentions during break and/or afterschool
  • contact parents to praise students, or with concerns
  • send students home for incorrect uniform (Head Teacher ONLY)
  • send students home for serious misconduct (Head Teacher ONLY)
